Self reflecting

I believe I have learned a lot of things from being in Mr. Weiler’s class. One thing especially is learning how to build my story. I’ve always known that I was a good writer but Mr. Weiler helped me bring out more of the goodness hidden in me. He taught us how to brainstorm and build a narrative arc, which is somewhat helpful. Another thing that I have learned is thinking and treating myself like a great young individual. One of the first assignments that I think he first introduced us to, is making a love poster. After we said some nice things on the poster about ourselves, we hung it in a place where would always see.

He also helped me to build my vocabulary and think outside of the box. Once we did a project on 100 things that we loved. Or 00 things that we saw and heard. Exerciseslike that helped me believe stressbecause I spent a lot of quality time by myself to think. In Mr. Weiler’s class to me we did a lot of work that wasn’t that hard at all.

All the things that I’ve learned in Mr. Weiler’s class is helping myself become a better writer, and believing in myself. I was a memorable mention in a writing contest, and that’s something that I thought I’d never do.

Thinking through feedback

The feedback that I got from my peers somewhat helped. It helped me to understand that my story was great, an that I suceeded in showing the main point that I was trying to get across to readers. Some people told me that my wholetstory was great and that I just needed to cahnge a few spelling errors.

One thing that really helped me was people telling me that I should always check my ending, because it tellsmy whole story. Some people told me erbally that my ending was good but sometimes I don’t do so well on that. Tony told me that she really liked the way my story related to other people’s lives. Which was exactly what I was trying to do. In my rough draft my main theme was to show others that these things go on in other people’s lives, and that tis is what some people go through.

By getting feedback from tohers it told me that i did great. Tilira just told me thta I need to fix my spelling and my heading which wasn’t so hard. Alsdo the feedback verbally helped me becasue some people told me that they liked my title. I was trying to say a lot just by having the tiltie that I did. The title was “My life as a teenage robot”.

The title was supposed to tell the reader that the main character was going through a lot of pain in her life. I beleive that the readers who read my story and gave me feedback, saw this. The title didn’t realyy mean that it was a real robot. Its just she went through so much that she felt like she was a robot just being in life without a point. Other people told me that if I keep on writing that I can really go far in life and become a wrting teacher.

My final project proposal

I propose that I be able to write a short story for several reasons. One, becauseI’ve done great on other projects related to this. Another reason is because my topic is dealing with real life situations, which will draw readers to what I’m talking about. I have a lot of brainstorming already, by connecting all of my topics to my themes. Next I know I won’t have a hard time creating and writing my rough draft. This is because I already know that i want to make the story bad in the beginning, so readers will be drawn to whst I have to say. Then in the middle it will get better for the main character leading up to the end of the story.

When we do projects pertaining to writing stories and dialogues. I beleive I do a pretty good job. I have a lot of potential write a full story about someones life and get a lot of credit for it. Secondly, because everyone will love the things I’m talkingabout in my story. The story that I’m going to write about is a girl growing up in a disturbed home, getting pregnant, and living the golden life after she has dealt with so much drama and pain. If not exactly like that something similar.

One day I actually want to write a book or short story. This is because I want to write a exciting story about my mom’s life and what the she been through. I also want to be a psychologist, so by practicing how to write books now and making this short story, I will be preparing for writing my own book about things like. When I discover a new medicine for skitsophrantic people, I will write a book about how I discovered it, and what I will do to help the world.

My fairy tale…A happy ending

My fairy tale went very well. I did change some things by changing my narorrative arc, but it all fell right into place. The things that I kept consistent, was having the same characters and hero. Like I might have stated before I really didn’t have any problems writng my story and putting it together.

One thing that I have learned from my freind, is that I need to reread what I write. Sometimes I just keep going with my writng that I don’t look back on what I’ve written. Even thoughI ahd some spelling errors, I don’t think I really had any other problems. The process of getting all of my stories together really helps to build my story.

Eccentric

My word is eccentric. I beleive this word descibes me in the right type of way. It means funny, and I know for a fact that I am very funny. Everyone says I am, and I beleive I am because I have a great personality. Everyday I always have something funny to say, because I love to make people laugh. I don’t try to be the class clown or anything, but it just comes natural to me.

In my word I have given each letter a specific word to it. Like for my “E’s” in my word. To me The e’s stands for extraordinary and excellence. Thats desribes me too. The two “C’s” mean caring, confidence, and considerate. The “N” means neat. The “T” means top-notch-glammar-chick. The “R” stands for respectful. Then last but not least, the “I” stands for inplicit

Even though my name is Precious, this word also describes me and I would consider it for a name. The word to me just sounds like some good fruit. Like when the package of somefoods say, centric fruit. I think it means crazy and wild. Whick also descibes me. I love to have a lot of fun, by going outside and doing things that other people don’t usually do.

“If I could write a best-seller…”

If I had a chance to write a best-selling novel I think I would write a nonfiction book about my life, or my mother’s life. It would have all the details of how she grew up and what it was like to grow up in the South. It would tell how she grew up without a mom and how she survived the worst of times. I would make it so that she can see how much her life means to me and my family. If it wasn’t for her being the strong and caring mother that she is, I don’t know what me and my family would do. It would tell her whole life story and maybe there would be a sequel of my life too. Just like the books David Pelzer made about his childhood. I would tell how my moms life led to a violent and abusive relationship with her husband, which is my dad. Then I would tell how she had other triles and tribulations in her life. I would also tell how she became free and started her life over right for her kids. She has been suceesful in continuing to be a great mother. I beleive if I wrote novel about her that it would be one of the best books in America.

“My fairy tale”

My fairy tale is called, ”you can’t tell me nuthin.” It is a story about my old teacher and I. we both have different personalities and don’t really get alomg. In the story I have a “Hero” named Mrs. Morris. In my story everything is fairy like, but it is based on my true story. Also in real life my 1st grade teacher was named Mrs. Morris, and she helped me get through what was going on in my life at that time.

So far I have written the first few pages of my rough draft. I have already made my theme and know somewhat of what I’m going to talk about in my story.My fairy tale has been good so far. I have accomplished brain storming and planning the details that I will be putting in my paper.

I think writing the story wazs good, because it was my own story that I had to make up. It was also easy, because I had to pick a hero and a monster, and i already knew the people that I wanted to use.

After Two weeks

After two weeks of being in Mr. Weilers class I’ve learned more things about me, and thought about new things that I never really looked at before. When we started writing our autobiography and jotted down all the things that have ever happened to me.

I thought about things like my old friends and very good memories, along with bad ones. I feel like this will help me calm down by writing down all of my thoughts for about 10 minutes a day.

Am I A Writer?

I do consider myself a writer because, I can put words together thoughtfully and nice, and make it sound like something. I write often to people like a pen pal, and I write about how I feel personaly about a certain situation that go on in my life.

Some of my writing goals are to persuade someone to do something or inform someone about something.some writers that inspire me are people like Dr. Phil and Oprah. This is because, they have been written about or have written their own books about what has happened to them throughout their llifetime.
